About the Event

2.5 hour walk (approx) in the South Downs

This story telling will be the first one of its kind from Nana, as she takes inspiration from her teacher Shonaleigh Cumbers, the last Drutsyla - a Jewish tradition bearer who carries 3000 oral stories from her grandmother, Edith Marks. A women's oral storytelling tradition which is thousands of years old.

Now Nana, with the permission and guidance of Shonaleigh is weaving old Bulgarian stories togetger to create a tapestry of tales, each strand connected to an other one. A new tradition is being formed.

'On the lowest fold of a seven folded heaven, there is a palace made entirely of gold.'

Walking Difficulty: Easy. There will be some walking, but no more than 1-2 km.
