Walk in the Wild

"Listen, are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life?

While the soul, after all, is only a window,

and the opening of the window no more difficult

than the waking from a little sleep"

Living in Relationship with Nature

A time for slowing down, reconnecting with ourselves as we reconnect with nature. For we are nature.

A time for paying attention to our breath, to the soles of our feet, to our heartbeat.

A space to play, to be free, to enjoy the surroundings.

I will lead you on gentle walks, where you will hear stories, poems, you will have a chance to be creative, to immerse yourself in the nature around you, and to re-charge.

Join me, and together we will Walk in the Wild.

ABOUT WALK IN THE WILD

Hi, I'm Nana and I love being in Nature. Being outside for me is liberating and inspiring. As a qualified walking guide (Lowland Leader Award) and a professional storyteller, I will take you on a magical experience combining nature and stories.

As a mental health pharmacist for almost a decade, I know the importance of nature connection and taking some time out for ourselves.

Here you will find my prescriptions for Nature and Stories as Medicine.

TESTIMONIALS

"Loved the morning out on the South Downs, on the walk led by Nana, combining professionalism and warmth. The highlight for me was the stories that she told - so well chosen and beautifully told, she held us in her spell as she told them and the stories continued to resonate long after. I highly recommend the walk as a unique experience, combining walking, storytelling and space for your own creative writing. And the rain didn't dampen our spirits, it just added to the special atmosphere."

"It was magical! The sea and the land and the stories became one."

"So thankful to have met and walked with this beautiful lady Nana yesterday on the down land at Lewes. Sitting in a field of wild flowers listening to her bring stories to life was magical. Being given time to tap into my own creative writing was a gift. Listening to the other women their stories and their writing was moving and beautiful. Altogether a very inspiring wonder filled outingI highly recommend you try it."

MARY
