About the Event
Nana Tomova's evocative stories and Megan Sahara (The Moray Harpist)'s ethereal music will transport you to some faraway places. Join us as the lightness re-immerges to listen to these magical tales. For we need stories in times of transitions.
In these stories there is light, in these stories there is no easy path, in these stories there could be darkness, in these stories there should be hope.
"The music, words and the beauty and presence of you both...pure magic. To weave such an experience with just your voices and harp was incredible and affirming. You tapped into something ancient and revealed what is important, powerful and essential. Very important tonic in the world just now". KM
"Enchanting and gorgeous. Grown-ups need stories too!" CBN
"Beauty on every level and every sense! I was completely mesmerised and so inspired. It seemed to shift something in me that was beyond words or intellect." KM
"What a beautiful night, absolutely inspiring. My soul is still spinning, wondering through woods of words and tunes." KN-C
Thank you to In Feathers and Catriona BN for the beautiful photos.
A tale from Norway where a wee lass is taken under the care of a woman. The lass can roam the entire house, apart from three forbidden rooms. But why is the forbidden so sweet?! A story of magic, darkness, mischief, and hope.
A story from Bulgaria about two sisters - one becomes as golden as the sun, and the other one as dark as the night. A story of the Woman's quest, of female initiation. The light and dark meet- we prefer the light, but both can be a gift.
The moon's silver light acts as a caring and benevolent force. But the actions of two people might stop her light forever. A Bulgarian tale filled with magic, moonlight, and feathers.
